The Polyurethane Polyblade is a molded blade, not fabricated. As such, there is the advantage of being able to mold the blade with a single stiffening plate inside the blade. The plate is dynamically balanced unlike most steel blades and plates. The center area is counter bored down to a thin skin so that it sits flat on the shaft.

The major benefits are:

1. stiffening plates are not required
2. easy one piece assembly
3. no metal exposure
4. single balanced plate
5. less expensive than a blade with 2 plates
6. Turbo Shear Pegs can also be used with this design.
