Turbo Polyblade with Embedded Plate: The Turbo Polyblade has been modified to impart a more aggressive dispersing action. Replaceable high shear pegs without steel studs are molded or fabricated into the blade. Customer trials have reported the ability to disperse higher viscosities, higher solids, faster grind time and lower amp draw though not necessarily all in the same application. The blade has 3 or more pegs on each side. The blade is available in the same materials as the standard Polyblade starting at 3” diameter and larger.
The Polyurethane Polyblade is now available with an embedded dynamically balanced steel plate. Stiffening Plates are not required with this blade. Blade assembly is far easier which is especially important in confined space entries. The center area is counter bored down to a thin skin so that it sits flat against the shaft.
The major benefits are:
Faster grind time
Efficient dispersing of high viscosity products
Lower amp draw.
