We have modified the Norstone Polyblade for a more aggressive dispersing action. "High shear pegs" with no steel studs are 100% molded into the blade and are replaceable. Our customer trials have reported the ability to disperse higher viscosities, higher solids, faster grind time and lower amp draw though not necessarily all in the same application. The blade has 3 or more pegs on each side. At left is a photo of a 14" impeller. The holes that you see are not real; it is the back side of the pegs on the other side. The illusion is created because the urethane peg is unpigmented.
