Mills for Wet Processing
Media mills - ball, sand, attritor, horizontal, vertical, basket, and immersion - that use grinding media to reduce particle size for dispersions, coatings, inks, and chemicals. Norstone also offers a full selection of dry grinding mills.
Dispersers
High-speed disc blades that apply shear alone or shear with pumping to wet, de-lump, and deagglomerate pigments and powders into a liquid base. 10 to 10,000+ gallon batches, no grinding media.
Tanks
Process, storage, and tote vessels in stainless steel, carbon steel, fiberglass, and poly construction - jacketed, vented, open or closed top, horizontal or vertical, any style bottom, with accessories like baffles, stands, wash systems, and portability - sized from laboratory pots to full production tanks. Portable and stationary Tank Washing and Tank Press equipment is also available.
Mixers
Industrial and process mixers that blend, suspend, and homogenize materials, for batch and continuous operations from low-viscosity suspensions to high-viscosity pastes.
Laboratory - Pilot Plant Equipment
Laboratory mills, dispersers, and bead mills for testing grinding media, blade configurations, and process parameters at small batch volumes ahead of production scale-up.

Horizontal media mill for high-throughput wet grinding and fine dispersion, with recirculation milling down to sub-micron particle sizes.

Vertical media mill for continuous wet grinding of medium- to large-volume batches.
VIM Immersion Mill — Basket Mill
Basket mill with media contained in an immersed head, grinding in a single vessel with no product transfer.
Multi-Shaft Mixer / Disperser
Combines a high-speed disperser with anchor or sweep agitation for high-viscosity mixing and let-down.
VHS High-Speed Disperser
High-speed disc disperser for dispersion and let-down; pairs with Blade Depot® DHS Polyblades.
Portable Discharge Press
Pneumatic follower press for discharging viscous product from drums and containers, on a mobile frame.
Stationary Discharge Press
Fixed follower press for high-volume discharge of pastes and viscous materials.
